Teen Rep Company
Our Teen Rep Co is designed for passionate young performers who are ready to take their craft to the next level. This ensemble-based training experience gives students the opportunity to dive deeply into acting technique while building confidence, discipline, and artistry in a supportive, pre-professional environment.
Throughout the program, students will work with teaching artists and theater professionals on scene study, character development, voice and movement for the stage, and collaborative ensemble work. This acting program, led by Tim Hackney of Bardo Theater Company, is grounded in Meisner’s principles of listening and presence. Students will grow essential acting skills, strengthen ensemble awareness, and learn practical script-analysis tools from the Chubbuck Technique. The class fosters confidence, courage, and a deeper connection to storytelling—perfect for high school performers looking to elevate their craft in a safe and creative space.
The Teen Rep Co is ideal for teens who are serious about acting—whether they’re preparing for auditions, exploring future training opportunities, or simply eager to grow as performers within a creative community.
Junior Rep Company
Jr. Rep Co is a welcoming, creative space designed for young performers who are just beginning their journey into theater and eager to learn. This program offers a relaxed, supportive environment where students can explore acting, movement, and vocal basics while building confidence and teamwork skills.
Through guided exercises, playful ensemble activities, and beginner-friendly scene and character work, participants gain a solid introduction to theater and focused training—without the pressure of a fully intensive program. Jr. Rep Co helps students discover their unique artistic voice while developing foundational skills that will prepare them for more advanced training in the future.
The Jr. Rep Co is perfect for students who are curious about performing, eager to grow, and excited to learn in a fun, encouraging setting. This program culminates in a self-produced showcase at the end of the session!
