PAPA Camp is the premiere co-ed overnight performing arts camp open to youth ages 8 – 16 in New England. PAPA Camp provides opportunities for campers to pursue theatrical and artistic endeavors while offering a vibrant assortment of outdoor camp activities.
PAPA Camp 2012 enrollment will begin in early February.
The Rep's Vacation Camp is a one week camp from February 27-March 2, 2012! We will meet at the Rep everyday from 9am-3pm and have two performances on Saturday March 3rd. In this one week session the kids will be laughing, acting, singing, dancing and putting together a show!! The show is called The Fifth Princess and is written by youth educator Robyn Barrows with music by Miles Burns. If you register by January 1st the cost is 250$ any registration after that will be 275$. We are limiting this camp to 25 kids. OPEN TO AGES 7 – 16, the Rep's Apprentice Stage day camp is designed to introduce, identify and strengthen each participant's performance skills, self-confidence, creativity, and ability to work with others towards a common goal (the show!). Using song, dance, improvisation, theatre games and scene study, performers take part in hands-on training in live theatre production. Each 2-week session culminates in a fully-staged theatrical performance open to the public. Campers walkto Prescott Park every day to enjoy lunch (weather permitting) as well as play games outside in the sun!
