Acting Bug students work to develop a sense of self, a working knowledge of theatre and theatre terminology, and essential acting skills. Young performers will learn to work with scene partners, to work as a team in an ensemble, and to come together to make a production happen.

 Theatre Together for Homeschoolers

Students will explore acting, musical theatre, and movement in this performance driven class offered especially for homeschooled students. Together with the instructor, they will work to create a (themed) original piece using songs they know and love, with scenes or dramatic poetry, and movement!






Teen Stage Ensemble (TSE) is an audition-based program designed to strengthen skills in the performing arts. Students will meet twice a week to gain a broad education in auditioning, scene work, dance, musical theatre, and overall performance. Guest instructors will be teaching some classes first semester, and collaborating on the performance for second semester.

Semester 1 - Tuesdays & Thursdays

Auditions Tuesday September 8, 4-6pm

Culminates in Showcase on Wednesday, November 18 @ 7pm

In the 1st semester, students will work with classic and contemporary monologues from works such as Proof, August Osage County, Cherry Orchard, The Syringa Tree and Tartuffe. They will delve into scene work from The Glass Menagerie, A Streetcar Named Desire, Ah Wilderness, and All My Sons. Students will select their own vocal audition pieces under the guidance of TSE's professional Music Director and refine the art of the "audition."

Semester 2 - Tuesdays & Thursdays

6-8pm  |  10 weeks  |  March 1 - May 19

(Skips weeks of April 25 and May 2nd)

*Students must have completed first semester to advance to 2nd semester

Culminates in 4 Performances on 5/29, 6/1, 6/5, & 6/8

In the 2nd semester, students will build on their 1st semester monologue and scene work as they delve into a classical theatre piece specially adapted for the ensemble with music and dance. Students will focus on body work, vocal technique, and character development.

Tuition: $500 per semester

Ages 12-18 may audition

**Spots are limited to 16 students per semester

Conflicts will be taken into consideration for acceptance into the program.
