Beginner Tap for Theatre (Studios at 1 Raynes Ave)

An introduction to tap dance. Through warm ups, across the floor exercises and improvisation, students will learn vocabulary and how to perform percussively using their feet.

Babes on Stage - Beginner Dance for Theatre (Studios at 1 Raynes Ave)

A gentle introduction to the basics of ballet and tap. For added fun, props and showtunes are incorporated to introduce students to musical theatre.

Learn the fundamentals of dance in a variety of styles. Proper technical instruction coupled with age-appropriate music allows each dancer in class to learn how to excel on the stage and have fun.

Learn the fundamentals for theatrical storytelling though dance. This class incorporates a variety of dance styles used in Broadway musicals today. Builds body awareness,strength and discipline on stage and off.

Get your pipes pitch perfect with this "aca-awesome" class. In a comfortable setting, students will increase personal presence, performance skills, and musicality while building upon their ability to work and sing as part of an a capella team.

Introduce your child to theater. Drop them off. We'll provide them with 2.5 hours of fun theater games while you  enjoy a nice night out. Bring a copy of your registration form to our participating restaurants and receive 10% off your entire bill!

$25/child per evening.  $5 off for siblings. $175 to book the entire session. 

Space is limited. We strongly encourage you to reserve your space ahead of time.

BABES ON STAGE

Babes on Stage is for our youngest aspiring performers! Young performers will explore acting, movement, singing, creative drama and self-expression while having fun and making friends in a supporting environment. Each session boasts creative play, fairy tales, dress up, tongue twisters, singing and movement.

THE ACTING BUG

with instructor Deb Barry

Acting Bug students work to develop a sense of self, a working knowledge of theater and theater terminology, and essential acting skills. Young performers will learn to work with scene partners, to work as a team in an ensemble, and to come together to make a production happen.

TEEN STAGE ENSEMBLE

Teen Stage Ensembe-TSE-began in 2011 with 8 students and is proud to enter it's 5th year with almost 30! Past performances include The Man of LaMancha, Godspell,The Fantasticks, and Miles Burns originals-The Upside of Being Down and Learning to Fly

TSE is designed for dedicated young actors ages 13-18 who have a strong interest in studying the craft of acting and musical theater performance.

Members of the Teen Stage Ensemble (TSE) study acting techniques,  vocal performance, movement for the actor, characterization and play analysis while working toward a final performance.

Teen Stage Ensemble membership is by audition only. Enrolled students will make a school-year-long commitment to TSE’s weekly workshops, master classes and rehearsals.

TSE's Mission

Members of Seacoast Rep’s Teen Stage Ensemble learn and create in a fun, professional theater arts environment taught by industry professionals. Students are encouraged to take creative risks in an inspiring atmosphere. 

Tuition

A payment of $350.00 is due at the first rehearsal and $350.00 due February 1st. Scholarships are available, please email Seraphina@seacoastrep.org for more information.

Class Times

Classes begin in early October and meet weekly through May. Throughout the year students work toward their culminating musical performance with a focus on process and development. Master classes are held throughout the year focusing on Audition Prep, Choreography, Vocal Technique and Q&As with local and Broadway theater professionals.
