Teen Stage Ensemble

Teen Stage Ensemble (TSE) is morphing into a new and improved program that will fit any schedule and any budget!  We are pleased to announce “Teen Stage Series” which is a series of Workshops and Masterclasses catering to teens who want to improve in their craft and who are looking to expand their general knowledge of theatre.  Teen Stage Series offers a broad education in auditioning, scene work, dance, musical theatre, and more.

*All workshops must have a minimum of six students to run.

New Teen Stage Ensemble Workshop:

Tuesday, April 18th
Seacoast Repertory Theatre | 6:00pm-8:00pm| Ages 14-18 | $30

In this workshop, actors will learn how to dig deep into themselves, get crystal clear on what makes them tick as actors, and learn how to bring that out in their audition material. Having the ability to fully bring you and your personality to an audition means you are better able to choose appropriate audition material, fully “show up” in that role at auditions, get more call-backs, and book more gigs!

Each performer should bring a monologue or song (which will be used as a monologue) that they particularly enjoy performing and that they feel fits their type well. From this workshop, performers will discover if this material is right for them, how to delve further into the character they’re portraying, and how to identifying what is working about this character so that they are better able to identify good material for themselves in the future.

Please bring:
Notebook and writing utensil, monologue or song as described above, and a willingness to make new discoveries and see things in a new light.
