Youth Education

The Seacoast Repertory Theatre’s mission is one of empowering and inspiring the imaginations of the student, artist, audience and community. Our Youth Programming offers students, young performers and campers the opportunity to hone theatrical, performance and life skills including creativity, collaboration, communication and self-confidence.


Portsmouth Academy of Performing Arts (PAPA)

PAPA Vacation Camp is a one week camp designed to keep your creative child entertained during school break! Campers meet at the Rep everyday from 9am-3pm and will perform a show at the end of the week.

PAPA Day Camp is offered each summer to students ages 7 – 16 and designed to introduce, identify and strengthen each participant’s performance skills, self-confidence, creativity, and ability to work with others towards a common goal: the show!

PAPA Overnight Camp is the premiere coed overnight performing arts camp at Camp Birchmont in Wolfeboro, NH! It is open to youth ages 8-16 in New England. PAPA Camp provides opportunities for campers to pursue theatrical, musical and artistic endeavors while offering a vibrant assortment of outdoor camp activities.

Teen Stage Ensemble (TSE)

Teen Stage Ensemble is designed for actors and singers ages 13—18 with a serious interest in the study of both acting and musical theatre performance. TSE Members work to develop a sense of self, a working knowledge of theatre, and give students the opportunity to work with other young actors of similar age, interest and experience.
