Classes for Adults!

Here at the Seacoast Rep, we like to get everyone involved in the Arts… yes, YOU!  If you are feeling creative or like you need to step out of your comfort zone, step into the spotlight and try one of our classes!


Winter Session 2 Begins the week of February 19th!


Beginner Tap for Teens/Adults with Seraphina Caligiure

February 22 – March 29

Rep North | Wednesdays, 5:30pm – 6:15pm | Ages 13+| $95

Beginner Tap for Teens/Adults will concentrate on learning the basics of tap dance.  Students will learn techniques, warm ups, across the floor exercises, and learn traditional dances.  No prior dance experience necessary, but students should have a good sense of movement and rhythm.

Students should wear comfortable clothes they can move in. Please bring a water bottle.

Tap shoes are required for this class.  (Tap shoes can be ordered online at Discount Dance Supply)





Winter Session 1 Classes Currently Running:

Stranger Than Fiction Presents: Adult Improv 101: Improv Fundamentals

January 8th – February 12th 

Rep North | Sundays 2:00pm – 4:00pm | Ages 18+

Learn the basics of improv, starting with “Yes-And,” in this 2 hour long 6-week class with Stranger Than Fiction veteran cast members, David Chevalier!   Areas of focus will include character- and object-work, finding the emotional basis of a scene, “yes-and-ing,” short-form “hooks,” and more. By the end of class, you’ll be familiar with basic concepts and have new confidence at work or play. Emphasis is on creating a fun, supportive environment, so get ready to meet new people and have a good time!


Stranger Than Fiction Presents: Adult Improv 201: Dynamic Improv

January 5th – February 9th  Rep North | Thursdays 6:30pm – 8:30pm | Ages 18+| Instructor: Jacqueline Martell

Take the next step toward performing improv onstage! In level 2 you will focus on exploring the diverse world of improv — from performance formats to schools of improv thinking — as well as maintaining and building on the skills learned in Level 1. Classes will include work on short scenes, character, and space-object work, as well as building short-form skills and learning to use them in long-form. Class will culminate with a performance in the first half of one of the Stranger Than Fiction shows- Date TBD.
