PAPA Workshop Productions presents: Rudolfoletto: A Christmas Operetta For Gifted Reindeer!
PAPA Workshop Productions are open to ages 6 – 16 and offer an opportunity for young performers to be involved in all aspects of theatre. There is a production fee of $100 (no registration fee) for each cast member.
What to prepare:
Those who wish to audition should come to the audition prepared with a short monologue or poem memorized and a song to sing. Sheet music is optional. Bring along a recent photo of yourself and a resume if you have one. Pick a song and a monologue/poem that you like and that you perform well.
Rehearsals will begin on Tuesday November 4th and will run every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 4pm-5:30pm through December 12th. Performances will be held at 11:00am on Saturdays and Sundays December 13th – December 21st. Tentative school matiness are scheduled for Monday December 15th and Monday December 22nd at 10:00 am and 11:30am. Please come prepared with a list of any conflicts you may have with the previously mentioned dates. A detailed rehearsal and performance schedule will be handed out at auditions.
The Seacoast Repertory presents:
The Wizard of Oz, Directed by Craig Faulkner and Choreographed by John Pirroni
When: Sunday November 2nd 2014 beginning at 2:00pm
Where: The Seacoast Repertory Theatre, 125 Bow Street Portsmouth NH
-Actors of all ages (no younger than 6) who can sing AND dance to fill roles in the ensemble
-We are casting for Munchkin Land, The Emerald City and various other roles such as Flying Monkeys, Crabby Trees and Tornado dancers
-Dancers with little theatrical experience are welcomed and encouraged to audition!!
WHAT TO PREPARE:
-A copy of your 8x10 headshot and resume attached
-A 32 bar cut from a song of your choice appropriate to the show. Please make sure your music is clearly marked and in a hard-back binder
-A list of conflicts between November 10th and December 28th 2014. Rehearsals will be scheduled once cast conflicts have been handed in. Please note, there are a total of five school matinees currently scheduled, adults and teens will not be double cast. The more specific you can be with your conflicts, the better!
-All will be asked to dance. Please wear or bring clothes comfortable to move in and prepare to stay for at least an hour following your audition appointment.
Please note the Seacoast Repertory Theatre is not able to offer housing for this production. By attending our local auditions we will assume you can supply your own housing and transportation for the length of the contract.
