Avenue Q

Sept 14 – September 30th

The award-winning, record-setting, smash-hit, foul-mouthed production is back with the same puppets, set and cast as our sold out 2015 production. Avenue Q returns to Seacoast Rep for a super-limited run.

Recent college grad, Princeton (a puppet), receives a good helping of heart-FELT (sorry) life lessons from a bunch of colorful characters (who are also puppets) after moving into a dingy apartment on Avenue Q. Everyone learns and sings and debates what the internet is for.

The Mad Men of Oopsie Daisy Inc. handcrafted 98 puppets from recycled and reclaimed materials for our 2015 production, and they’re all back! – Kate Monster, The Bad Idea Bears, Rod and Nicky, Treckie Monster, and Gary Coleman (who is not a puppet but is also not Gary Coleman).

Sesame Street this ain’t. The show is probably most definitely not appropriate for young children (or young puppets). Our puppet heroes say bad puppet words and explore adult puppet themes. Parents should use their discretion based on the maturity level of their children/puppet children.

Showtimes are Thursdays at 7:30pm, Fridays at 8pm, Saturdays at 2pm and 8pm, and Sundays at 2pm. Tickets are available below or through our box office. Call or visit our box office during their regular business hours Tuesday-Sunday 12pm – 6pm or through showtimes. Have a drink at our full bar before the show!
